The closer you get to menopause, the more you need to recognize the symptoms you experience and the know-how to manage them. Create proper habits of self-care and prevention. Developing habits to be proactive and generate prevention approaches at every stage of life can greatly improve our well-being – and our confidence! Habits don’t have to be inactive.
Practice Self Care
If symptoms persist or become more frequent, don’t be afraid to seek medical help and advocate for yourself by asking for a detailed test, especially if they are supposedly regular and irreversible symptoms, like incontinence. If you realize something is undoubtedly wrong, seek another opinion. Fully acknowledging our wellness issues, consulting with different people, and tracking our external symptoms can help us articulate our difficulties and possess a richer conversation with health care providers.
